Where you see the icon, this means that the panoramic is a full-size scan and IS suitable for downloading and taking to a photographic shop for full-size printing. However, please review the version on screen before downloading - some of the full-size scans are NOT perfect because of the condition of the original source materials.

The files sizes vary, but on average, they are 10-15 Mb. This means that after downloading them, they are too large to fit onto a floppy disk and will require transferring to a CD before taking them to the shop for printing. If you require any assistance please contact Steve, the WebMaster

Roger (Len) Cox, 1953-1960 has spent considerable time using a suite of software programs, digitally enhancing the original full-size panoramics. These now replace the original full-size scans when you click on the 'full-size download' button. Although he has not been able to restore them to a perfect state (some tears and scratches remain), overall, the digital 'makeover' process has improved on the original scans that have faded and lost contrast over the years.
